The purchase of a new home is the single most expensive investment that most people ever make in a lifetime. The additional expense of a home inspection should insure that the home purchase is a sound investment. But the inspection fees don't have to break the bank either. A competent inspection will give you insight as to the condition of the home.

A used home obviously needs to have a comprehensive inspection done in order to insure that the house is structurally sound and there are no major defects. What seem to be small repairable items at the time can end up becoming major financial issues. We will inspect every accessible area of every room in the house including all doors, windows, lights, outlets, and any appliances present. Areas that most home buyers do not see such as the attic, the roof, and any crawl space will be thoroughly inspected.

A new home should also be inspected. Why? The home is built by humans and that alone leaves room for errors. Often times during the rush to finish a new home, some important steps can be left out. I have personally inspected brand new homes that lacked attic insulation. Imagine the high energy costs you would endure without insulation. This condition alone would cost you hundreds if not thousands of dollars over the course of a year or longer before it is discovered. Why take the chance?
